An organization created by the merger of Lutheran Services of Tennessee and Lutheran Services of Georgia, has a location in North Nashville which serves the greater Nashville community with Disaster Relief, Food Bank, Building Healthy Families Program, Healthy Gardens, Immigrant & Rrefugee Services, and Thrive Studios.  They have received a $2M+ grant to begin the process to redevelop the North Nashville site (formerly St. Paul Lutheran Church) to house not only the ministries conducted at that site, but also add affordable housing for the elderly and those with ability issues.  Click here for more information.

Disaster Relief

Inspiritus assists communities throughout the state when disaster strikes. We do so by partnering with congregations and Lutheran aid organizations so that we can leverage collective resources and respond as quickly and effectively as possible.

Inspiritus’ focus is providing long term recovery assistance for families and individuals who have unmet needs following a natural disaster. Inspiritus’ work includes assisting and managing home repairs and construction and assessing each family’s or individual’s comprehensive needs and ensuring those needs are met.​

Serving low-income families, Inspiritus enrichment programs teach and empower children and families, providing opportunities for enrichment and growth for individuals while strengthening communities.
